She was raised in an exclusive Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan by a Catholic family. She was enrolled by her parents into the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and private school. It was a passion for her since her childhood. She began playing the piano at just a little girl. After the age of 13 she wrote her first song. Nights at open mics were her most favorite.
